What we collect, what we do with it, who else touches it, and how to get rid of it. Written to be read, not to be survived.

In one paragraph. This policy covers the website. If you send us a message, we get your name, email, company and what you wrote, so we can reply to you and keep track of who asked. That is very nearly all this site collects. Your company's financial data is a different matter entirely: it stays in your own environment, we work inside the systems you already own, and it is governed by your engagement and our NDA rather than by this page. We do not sell anything we hold, and you can ask us to delete your contact record at any time.
This policy describes how Anchor Partners LLC, of Charlotte, North Carolina, trading as Anchor Earnings ("Anchor Earnings", "we", "us"), handles information in connection with the anchorearnings.com website.
It applies to you whether you are a visitor, someone who has contacted us, or a client. If you are dealing with us on behalf of a company, "you" means both you and that company.
Keeping these apart is the most useful thing this page can do, so it comes first.
This website collects almost nothing: a contact form, and the ordinary request records any hosted site produces. That is what the rest of this policy is about.
Your engagement is where your financial data lives, and it is governed by the agreement and the NDA we sign with you, not by this policy. The short version is that your files stay in your own shared drive, we work inside your environment under access you grant and can revoke, only the two principals of Anchor Partners LLC have that access, we do not use your data after the engagement ends, and sensitive data is purged within 90 days of the engagement ending. Our Security page sets that out in full.
Please do not send financial records, statements or exports through the contact form. It is a website form, not the place for them. Tell us what you need and we will set up somewhere appropriate.

The contact form is delivered two ways at once, both described in section 5: it is emailed to us through a relay service, and it is written to a leads table in our database. Neither is a secret and both are listed there.
Our hosting provider records ordinary operational data such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, and may produce aggregate traffic statistics. We use it to keep the site running and secure.
We do not run advertising, behavioral tracking or session-recording on this site, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
We share information only with the service providers we need to operate, and only for that purpose.

Anchor Earnings and Anchor BI are both practices of Anchor Partners LLC and share that leads database. A column records which site a message came from. Both are us.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of others. If the business is ever acquired or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction, and we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Information is stored in the United States. The leads database runs on Supabase infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services in the US West (Oregon) region, us-west-2, and is encrypted in transit and at rest. If you contact us from outside the United States, you are sending your information to the United States, where privacy laws differ from those in your country.
We keep the contact record created when you write to us, your name, email, company and message, as part of our business records, so that we know who we have spoken to.
Working material from an engagement is handled as described on the Security page: deleted at your request at any time, and sensitive data purged within 90 days of the engagement ending regardless.
If you want your contact record erased, email [email protected] and we will delete it, ordinarily within 30 days.
Whatever your location, you may ask us to:

Residents of California, and of other states with comprehensive privacy laws, have these rights by statute, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law.
How we handle client financial data is set out on the Security page. For this website: it is served over TLS, the leads table accepts new rows from the contact form but cannot be read back by anything in your browser, and access to what we hold is limited to the two principals of Anchor Partners LLC.
No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and any regulator as required by law, without undue delay.
Anchor Earnings is a business service and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
We will update this policy as the business changes. The effective date at the top will change with it.
